Athletic Club 1997-98 Centenary Kit
Celebrating the club's centenary. Athletic Bilbao was founded in 1898 by students belonging to the Gymnasium Zamacois. They named their community Athletic Club, using the English spelling. In 1901, a meeting was held in the Café García, which established more formal rules and regulations for the famous club.
