In contrast to previous versions, the 2017-2018 Schalke alternate jersey features predominantly black coloring, with green utilized for the sleeves, a collar design matching that of Manchester United's new shirt, and the side-positioned Three Stripes. The Adidas and Gazprom emblems displayed on the chest of the Schalke alternate jersey appear in white.
