Umbro produced Olympique Lyonnais's home kit for the 2008-09 season, sponsored by Novotel, which was worn throughout the campaign that saw their consecutive seven-year run of Ligue 1 titles come to an end. The design is characterized by a crisp white base with a striking red and blue stripe running down the center, along with blue detailing at the shoulders and on the collar, where red edging is also present.
