The shirt's sponsor placement, as initially presented by the club, drew considerable criticism, prompting FCU supporters to launch an online petition requesting a redesign. The club responded positively to their feedback, subsequently revealing an alternative version with improved sponsor positioning that removed the white box framing the sponsor's emblem (see the comparison displayed in the second image).
