When founded in 1965, Twente was a fusion between Enschede Boys and Sportclub Enschede. The colours of these clubs are the main colours on this one. The centralised team crest is the original one, which dates back to 1965. The Green V-Shape takes its shape from Sportclub Enschede, but in colours of Enschedese Boys.
