Why did some Aston Villa players play without sponsorship on their shirts? It was notable during the match between ClubBrugge and Aston Villa, in a UEFA Champions League match, that some of the AVFC's players such as Jhon Durán entered the field without Betano sponsorship on their uniforms. Belgium increased the legal age for gambling from 18 to 21. The new regulation came into effect on September 1, 2024, and prohibits any association of minors, including athletes.
