UEFA regulations prohibited competing teams in their competitions from displaying identical sponsors, which created an issue when PSG and AC Milan faced each other during the 2000/01 season. Since both clubs carried Opel as their primary shirt sponsor, the visiting side in each match was required to alter their kit. In these instances, the away team switched their sponsorship display to Corsa instead.
