The Capelli MSV Duisburg 2021-2022 special jersey is based on the home shirt but swaps the sponsors out. Main sponsor ZOXS agreed to let Duisburg place a message against racism in their spot. It reads: "Integration Respekt Toleranz" with a blue, zebra-pattern heart next to the words. The regular sleeve sponsor also allowed Duisburg to put up their coat of arms in their place.
