Liverpool will sport the Global Goals logo on their shirts in today's game against Aston Villa. Liverpool sponsor Standard Chartered, a Global Goals founding partner, has waived its advertising space for the game in favor of the charity's logo. On Friday, the United Nations formally adapted the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development along with a set of Global Goals. By displaying its logo on the Liverpool shirt, the campaign hopes to raise awareness of its aim to help end extreme poverty, fight inequality and injustice and more by 2030.
