The 2018/19 season was the last season with JAKO as the kit supplier. To mark the end of an eight-year partnership, a special edition jersey was created exclusively for Hannover 96 members. The home jersey, in classic red with slightly darker sleeves and shoulders, featured the names of the club's members on the front. The maximum capacity was 3,500 first and last names on the adult jerseys and 2,000 names on the children's jerseys, with different sets of names for each version. This jersey was worn only once, in the match against Eintracht Frankfurt on February 24, 2019. Hannover 96 lost the game 0–3.
