Named "Pici", the third shirt of Fortaleza EC 2022-2023, celebrates the club's 104th anniversary, and pays homage to the60th anniversary of Estádio Alcides Santos. It is red and has horizontal stripes along the entire mantle in a darker shade of color. The collar is V in blue with a white center strip, a pattern also seen on the cuffs, while blue details are seen on the sides of the kit. The great highlight is the shield that brings the reinterpretation of a historic shield that refers to a Swiss design with the initials of “Fortaleza Sporting Club”. The reference of the uniform recalls curiosities of Pici, a traditional neighborhood in the capital of Ceará where Leão resides. One of the origins of the name of the neighborhood came from an American air base from the 1940s, during World War II, called “Post Command” (PC), which brings the sound of “pi” and “ci”. This is represented with a warplane that is applied to the back of the neck.
