Designed following the identical pattern as its corresponding home kit from the same range, Costa Rica's away jersey features a predominantly white base accented with a red neckband and red cuff details on the sleeves. As a tribute to the 1990 World Cup, the uniform displays a crest inspired by the version worn during that era. This emblem showcases the Costa Rican flag alongside the country's name displayed in red text above it. The New Balance branding and a "Limited Edition 2016" inscription positioned inside the neck collar appear in gold, celebrating the centennial of the inaugural Copa America championship.
