To mark four decades since Bayer Leverkusen's first season in the Bundesliga, the club partnered with kit manufacturer Jako to create a commemorative uniform. This exclusive jersey draws design elements from the kit used during the 1978-79 campaign, the year when the club achieved promotion to Germany's highest football division for the inaugural time.
