The 2016-2017 Roma away kit features the historic 'Lupetto' emblem, drawn from the club's previous logo and presented as a tribute to the approaching 90th anniversary in 2017. This marks the first appearance of the traditional 'Lupetto' badge since the 2012-13 campaign. The emblem, which was displayed from 1979 through 1997, depicts a stylized wolf's head enclosed within a white circular border adorned with red and orange outlines.
