Nike designed Arsenal FC's 2008-09 away kit, which carried the Fly Emirates sponsorship during that campaign. Arsenal donned this kit throughout the 2008-09 season, a year in which they secured fourth place in the Premier League standings and advanced to the Champions League semi-finals. The dominant color of the shirt is yellow, complemented by dark blue sleeves and dark blue edging along the collar. A red line runs down each sleeve, and this kit was created to mark the 20th anniversary of the club's triumphant league championship in 1989.
