Le Coq Sportif ("the sporting cockerel") is a French sportswear brand founded in 1882 in Romilly-sur-Seine by Émile Camuset. One of the oldest active sportswear manufacturers in the world, the brand is identified by its cockerel logo — derived from the Gallic rooster, a symbol of France — and a heritage deeply embedded in French sporting culture.
