Puma has unveiled RB Leipzig's home shirt for the 2026-27 Bundesliga season. Clean and architectural, it draws its defining motif from the club's own backyard.
The design
The shirt is built on a white base. Thin red vertical pinstripes run across the front and continue on the lower back, a direct visual reference to the illuminated strips on the exterior of the Red Bull Arena. The effect is subtle but deliberate, tying the kit to the stadium.
Red appears throughout: in the side inserts that run beneath the sleeves and down the body, in the Puma logo on the right chest, and in the raised RB Leipzig crest on the left. The Red Bull shirt sponsor sits across the centre in red and yellow. Player name and number applications on the back are also in red, with "RB LEIPZIG" printed beneath the collar.
The complete kit pairs the white shirt with red shorts and red socks carrying white Puma and club details. On the technical side, the shirt uses Puma's dryCELL moisture-management fabric and is made from 100% recycled material (excluding trims and decorative elements) as part of Puma's RE:FIBRE sustainability programme.
The background
RB Leipzig were founded in 2009 and reached the Bundesliga in 2016. Since then they have established themselves as one of the division's leading clubs, winning the DFB-Pokal in 2022 and reaching the Champions League semi-finals in 2023. The Red Bull Arena, which opened in 2004 and seats around 47,000, is the architectural starting point for this shirt's design.
Puma has been the club's kit manufacturer since their founding. The 2026-27 home kit continues the long-standing red-and-white colour scheme while leaning into the stadium connection more explicitly than previous releases.
