Nike has revealed Paris Saint-Germain's home kit for the 2026/27 season, marking the 37th consecutive year of the partnership and drawing directly on one of the club's most iconic design periods.

The design

Royal blue forms the base, the colour PSG have worn at home throughout their history. The defining feature is a wide red panel running vertically through the centre of the shirt, flanked by narrow white bands on either side. The arrangement is a clear reference to the Hechter stripe, the layout introduced by designer Daniel Hechter in the 1970s that became inseparable from PSG's visual identity.

The neckline is a blue V-shape. Red piping runs along the shoulders and side seams, adding definition without disrupting the stripe. A French tricolour detail sits near the cuff. Subtle tonal fabric detailing is visible across the main panels at close range.

The PSG crest is positioned centrally on the upper chest, with the white Nike Swoosh directly below it. Qatar Airways appears as the main front sponsor, with BEYOND on the sleeve and Snipes on the lower back.

Construction

Nike offers the shirt in two cuts. The authentic version uses Dri-FIT ADV with body-mapped ventilation zones. The replica uses standard Dri-FIT technology to move sweat away from the skin.

The story

The Hechter stripe has appeared on PSG shirts in various forms over the decades, but this version is among the most direct reproductions in recent years. The wide red panel with white borders is lifted almost wholesale from the 1970s originals, giving the kit an immediate sense of history without leaning on retro styling as a gimmick. For a club that has spent the past decade building a new identity around global stars, returning to this particular template is a straightforward statement about where the club comes from.
