Nike officially unveiled the Netherlands 2026 World Cup kits on March 23, 2026, as part of the full rollout of their national team kits ahead of the tournament in North America. Oranje wasted no time putting them on the pitch. The home kit debuted four days later against Norway, and the away kit followed against Ecuador. Here is a full breakdown of both shirts.
The Home Kit
The home kit is exactly what you want from a Netherlands shirt: bright orange, clean, and without unnecessary decoration. Nike has gone deliberately minimal. No heavy graphics, no all-over pattern, no distracting texture work. The orange speaks for itself.
Black appears on the sleeve cuffs and side panels, grounding the design without competing with the dominant colour. The most notable detail is the Dutch football badge, rendered in an iridescent finish that shifts slightly under different lighting. Shorts and socks are black throughout.
The shirt made its debut on March 27 at the Johan Cruijff ArenA in Amsterdam. Norway took the lead through Andreas Schjelderup in the 24th minute, but Virgil van Dijk headed in from a set piece to level before half time, and Tijjani Reijnders settled it in the 51st minute. Netherlands won 2 to 1. Seeing the orange in a live match setting rather than on a product render confirmed what the renders suggested — it is a confident, unfussy design that sits comfortably alongside the great Dutch home kits of previous generations.

The Away Kit
The away kit is where Nike has been more adventurous. The base is a clean white, and a horizontal band of vivid gradient orange runs across the chest, fading across the shirt in a way that reads as bold without being busy. It references Dutch colours without simply inverting the home shirt, which is exactly what a good away kit should do.
It debuted on March 31 at the Philips Stadion in Eindhoven against Ecuador. The match ended 1 to 1. Willian Pacho put the Netherlands ahead with an own goal, Ecuador levelled through an Enner Valencia penalty, and Denzel Dumfries saw red late on. Not the result Oranje wanted in the final warmup, but the kit looked sharp throughout. The white base with the orange gradient reads well in motion.

Buy the Kits
Both shirts are available now through Nike. The home kit is the safer long-term buy since the orange ages better than white. Either way, World Cup kits tend to go out of stock quickly once the tournament starts.
