In 1924, 1925, and 1926, Huddersfield Town won the English top-flight title three times in a row. No English club had ever done it before. One hundred years on from that third title, Castore has produced a limited edition shirt to mark the centenary.
The design
The shirt is built on the standard Huddersfield Town 2025/26 home kit: vertical blue and white stripes, modern V-neck collar in matching blue, lightweight performance fabric with a subtle textured finish. What separates this edition from the regular shirt is the application of gold throughout.
The club crest appears in gold, with a stitched Thrice Champions scroll worked beneath it. The Castore logo on the right chest is finished in gold. The central shirt sponsor is rendered in a contrasting gold tone. The secondary sponsor near the lower back follows the same treatment. Every piece of branding on the shirt has been converted to gold.
Inside the collar, there is detailing that references each of the three championship seasons. The shirt comes presented in a dedicated collector's box. The full kit includes matching blue shorts and socks.
The centenary
The club built a broader programme of events around the anniversary beyond the shirt release. Matchday activities included 1920s themed events, boardroom tours, and a special tifo display. The shirt was worn on the pitch during the Championship fixture against Wycombe Wanderers, commemorating the centenary of the 1926 title triumph.
