FC Porto and New Balance have released the home shirt for the 2026/27 season. It is a direct return to the club's most recognisable visual identity: broad vertical blue and white stripes, kept clean and uncluttered.
The design
The front of the shirt carries broad vertical blue and white stripes across the full width of the body. The collar is a white V-neck, and the sleeve cuffs are also finished in white. New Balance branding sits in white on the right chest, opposite an embroidered Porto crest on the left. Betano appears as the main shirt sponsor in navy with a white outline. SUPER BOCK is placed across the upper back.
The reverse flips the colour balance: a predominantly white back with blue sleeves and two blue panels at the lower rear hem. Two versions are available. The Elite shirt uses engineered mesh zones and a lightweight fabric construction with NB DRYx moisture-wicking technology. The standard replica uses NB DRY fast-drying fabric. White shorts carry club and manufacturer branding; blue socks have white trim and club detailing throughout.
The story
New Balance describe the kit as revisiting Porto's traditional blue and white identity while referencing the club's shirts from the late 1980s and early 1990s. That era coincided with some of Porto's most successful years domestically, and the broad stripe proportions on this shirt do carry a clear visual connection to that period.
The 2026/27 shirt keeps the design grounded: no heavy graphic overlays, no tonal jacquard patterns on the stripes. The focus is the stripe itself, which for a club with Porto's history is usually enough.
