Macron have released Bologna's home shirt for 2026-27, and it comes with a clear occasion: the 100th anniversary of Stadio Renato Dall'Ara, the club's home since 1927 and one of the most distinctive grounds in Italian football.
The design
The shirt uses Bologna's rossoblù colours in a five-stripe layout. A blue central stripe sits between two red panels, with two outer navy panels completing the design. Running between the stripes is a repeated graphic of the Torre di Maratona, the stadium's landmark tower designed by architect Giulio Ulisse Arata and inaugurated in 1927.
The collar is a navy fold-over style with red trim. Raglan sleeves feature red piping, with knitted cuffs carrying a tone-on-tone arch motif that references the porticoes found throughout Bologna. A small Torre di Maratona detail appears below the rear collar. The sleeves also carry an embossed tonal pattern incorporating the club crest and the tower.
The fabric is Macron's Eco Softlock, a lightweight technical material made from 100% post-consumer recycled polyester. The full kit pairs with white shorts and navy socks with red detailing.
The story
Stadio Renato Dall'Ara opened in 1927 as Stadio Littoriale and was renamed after the club's long-serving president in 1983. The Torre di Maratona is its most recognisable feature, a 42-metre tower that predates the rest of the stadium's current structure and remains a listed landmark.
The centenary year gives Macron a clear design brief, and the result is one of the more considered kit narratives of the 2026-27 cycle. Every element of the shirt traces back to the ground: the tower graphic, the arch cuffs referencing Bologna's porticoes, and the anniversary framing that runs through the entire release.
