Athletic Club and Castore have revealed the home shirt for the 2026-27 season under the campaign name "Our Identity", a reference to the club's deep connection to the Basque Country and its strictly local player policy.
The design
The shirt carries seven vertical red and white stripes across the front, each one representing one of the seven provinces of the Basque Country. The red stripes feature a fine tonal line pattern that adds texture without disrupting the clean silhouette.
The collar is a black V-neck with narrow white trim. Black shoulder inserts and sleeve cuffs frame the arms, with red and white sections running down the sleeves and additional red striping along the outer arm.
The back of the shirt has a predominantly red upper section, with the striped pattern returning in the lower half. Below the rear collar sits a Basque Country map filled with the Basque flag, a detail that makes the cultural statement explicit. Kutxabank appears as the front sponsor, with DIGI placed on the lower back. The Castore logo sits in black on the right chest, the club crest on the left. The full kit pairs with black shorts and socks. A pro version with Aertek technology is available for elite match use.

Athletic Club are one of only four clubs never relegated from La Liga.
