Puma has unveiled AC Milan's home shirt for the 2026-27 season, and the Rossoneri are going back to basics. Wide vertical red and black stripes run across the front and back of the jersey, keeping the design firmly in the tradition of one of football's most iconic kits.
The design
The stripes are bold and clean, with no tonal variation or graphic interference. A black crew-neck collar carries red trim, and the same red accent appears on the sleeve cuffs, tying the palette together without overcomplicating things.
Puma's logo sits in white on both the chest and shoulders. The full-colour AC Milan crest, complete with its gold star, is placed on the left chest. The Emirates Fly Better wordmark is printed in white across the front.
The back of the shirt features a gold wax seal graphic below the collar, and the inside neckline carries the inscription "From Milan to the World." The kit is completed by white shorts with black Puma branding and black-and-red hooped socks.
On the technical side, the authentic version uses Puma's ULTRAWEAVE fabric in a streamlined athletic fit. The replica uses dryCELL technology for breathability. Both versions are made from 100% recycled material, excluding trims and decorative elements.
The story
Milan's home strip has revolved around the same vertical red and black stripes since the club's early years, making it one of the most recognisable silhouettes in world football. Puma, which has been the club's kit supplier since 2018, has leaned into that heritage with this release rather than experimenting with the formula.
The "From Milan to the World" neckline inscription is a straightforward statement of the club's global reach. The gold wax seal adds a premium touch to what is otherwise a deliberately restrained shirt.
